Exclusive Track Premiere: “You and I” From Angel Studio’s ‘Homestead’ Soundtrack
Homestead is Angel Studios’ most ambitious project yet. Directed by Ben Smallbone, the faith-based, post-apocalyptic thriller will debut in theaters December 20th. The story will then continue as a show on the Angel Studios streaming platform. You can read our review of the movie here.
Homestead—Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, which features effectively ominous orchestrations by composer Benjamin Backus and original songs by Justin James and Roland Lewis, will also be available December 20th through Lakeshore Records.
The Collision is excited to provide an exclusive premiere of the track “You and I.” The beautiful song, written and performed by Emmy-nominated composer and singer/songwriter Roland Lewis, lyrically captures Homestead’s redemptive themes of connectivity and community.
Describing the track, Lewis said, “‘You and I’ is a song about the resilience of love through the trials of life. It’s about opening up and being truly vulnerable to that one other person. That kind of sanctity and commitment between two people is one of the most beautiful gifts that we get to experience in this lifetime. It’s something that’s worth fighting for every day.”
